By mid-to-late October, Jiangxi has cooled. Morning mist, golden rice fields and village Shaiqiu unfold as the crowds ease.
The journey runs from Longhu Mountain to Jingdezhen, Yaoli and Wuyuan, then up Sanqing Mountain before ending amid Huangling’s harvest colors.
Eight days with longer stays in three bases reduce hotel changes, balancing rafting, old towns, ceramics, ink-gilding and hiking at an easy pace.
